Navigating Relationships: Lessons from a Partnerships leader

Similar to partnerships, all relationships have a timeline. Some short-term, others ong-term and a few lifelong. In my years of managing partnerships, I have learnt that knowing how long a relationship will last can prevent failures and unmet expectations. 

Partnerships are never one-sided, relationships should not be either. It's not always about You. Insteald focus on how all parties can make gains by understanding their needs. Mutually beneficial relationships or partnerships are always the most successful. 

Many partnerships have been lost in the ocean of miscommunication. Set clear expectations and boundaries at the start and don't be afraid to have hard conversations to clarify details. Navigating relationships, like partnerships can be unpredictable, however using the tips, many pitfalls can be avoided.
